This limited offering of "Green Snail Spring" was grown on an island in Suzhou Lake, directly east from Shanghai in the spring of '08. The tiny leaves are full of flavor and are one of China's most famous types of tea.
Commonly known as 'Melon Seed', this tea was hand crafted this spring. The beautiful blue green leaves have an intense vegetal flavor reminiscent of Japanese green tea. Grown on the shore of a remote lake in Qi Shan Mountain in Anhui, this tea gets its name from the shape of its leaves.

Picked and processed by hand in the spring of 2008, the leaves are rolled into long, wiry strips. This oolong comes from the honey dancong plant varietal. Combined with the fine workmanship of the tea farmer the flavor and aroma produce an exquisite honey character - a great example how diverse phoenix oolongs can be.
Made from the little known Yanzhonglan varietal this is an oolong tea grown in the center of Wuyi Mountain National Park. The large leaves have a distinctive charcoal roast which dissipates into a pleasing flavor with notes of caramelized sugar and nuts. Limited quantity.
