Bought this thermos for my partner for Christmas so that they have a designated thermos for their tea, separate from a coffee thermos -- they love it! This thermos is really well made and has a great seal to prevent spills. It does such a great job at insulating that sometimes we have to leave it open to allow the tea to cool, otherwise, it'll burn your mouth (example: thermos was left on the kitchen counter for a full work day and tea was hot -- not scalding hot, but more than just warm -- after a full day). For loose leaf tea, the infuser can be used two ways: 1) put leaves in the bottom of the thermos with water and the metal filter keeps the tea leaves from getting in your mouth (this only works with tea that can remain steeped for a long time); 2) put the leaves in the infuser basket and pour the hot water over the leaves and up to the level of the infuser basket, then remove the basket when the steeping is complete (just be careful with the temperature)

I have been appreciating this when I travel - I can brew in it and it keeps it warm if I use this for later (and a tea bag for breakfast). One note - it’s not a fancy hot-for -xx-hours thermos - it won’t keep your tea warm in a freezing car in winter, but if you put it in your bag on a regular day it can be pretty warm later!
