The mission of Karnak Farm, in Saco, Maine, is to produce high quality, delicious and healthy herbal infusions locally. This variety of elderberry (Sambucus canadensis) is native to the northeastern United States, and is also referred to as sweet elder.

Organically grown and hand-harvested, the tiny blossoms undergo a controlled fermentation and solar drying process; this yields a wonderfully sweet aroma, with a complex and rich, almost savory, flavor. Naturally caffeine-free.
