This unusual white tea from Yunnan Province is made on Jingmai Mountain. A simple process of air-drying, after hand-harvesting, allows for slight oxidization.

Note the dark olive leaves interspersed with abundant silky silver buds; they yield a yellow-gold liquor in the cup and a rich mouthfeel. Once infused, a floral fragrance leads to a deep, fruity flavor—think grilled plums—that lasts through several steeps. A sweet hay-like aroma, characteristic of Yunnan teas, lingers throughout.

Tiny sample but yummy

I measured and there was only 2g of leaves in my sample, enough for one serving (but I'm infusing it several times). That's a little disappointing but it does taste delicious, very fruity as described. Paying $5 for a really good cup of tea isn't crazy, but just calibrate your expectations of the sample size accordingly.

Sometimes our fluffy-leafed teas (such as white teas like White Rose) take up more room in the package, as we try to avoid crushing the leaves for these samples, but 2 grams is definitely an under-filled bag.
