Earl Grey

The namesake of Charles, England’s second Earl Grey, this tea—traditionally a blend of strong black tea and bergamot—has been produced since the early 1800s.

Our version starts with a single-estate organic Assam from northern India, which is scented only with pure bergamot oil that has been naturally extracted from the fruit’s rind. The full citrus notes are balanced enough with the rich black tea base so that it can enjoyed plain, or with milk and a sweetener.

Ingredients: black tea, bergamot oil

A similar lot is available in teabags.

Country: India
Region: Assam
Tasting Notes: aromatic, candied lemon, bold
Harvest Season: Spring 2021

My favorite place to buy Earl Grey.

I accustomed to some pretty run of the mill tea, so IPOT's tea is a delight. There is flavor, honest earthy flavor!
It is sort of like getting used to a Ford, and then driving a Mercedes...

Mother-In-Law is ECSTATIC

My mother in law is a critic about most things; tea included. I got this for her for Christmas and received multiple texts over the ensuing month about how amazing this tea was. Slam dunk. She even texted when it ran out because she was so sad. Her birthday is this week. Guess what she got? And now I’m her favorite daughter-in-law 😂

Beautiful Fagrance

This tea is excellent! I only use half the measure I would normally use with other teas because it's very fragrant. My first order never arrived and they kindly sent me another.

Excellent Earl

The richest, most flavorful , perfectly deep tea with extra flavorful bergamot. The best Earl Grey I have ever in tasted. 65 years of tasting!

Very good, would love it if

it had a bit more bergamot with very bright citrusy tones..

unexpetedly surprised.

Earl Grey is my favorite supermarket tea. I did not expect the aromatic, robust, and hearty nature of this tea. Is It because of the bergomot oil? The leaves are so hearty that I was able to brew several teapots, savoring the subsequent iterations of each brew. Very satisfying, indeed.
