Shipping & Terms
Retail orders are normally processed within five business days; orders placed on a weekend will be processed on Monday. You will receive a notification, with tracking details, once your order has been shipped. All orders are sent from our Wakefield, MA warehouse.
Please note, USPS is still experiencing occasional shipping delays due to the pandemic, which unfortunately is out of our control. Packages may take extra time to reach their destination; only USPS can offer more details about status or delivery date, or reschedule a delivery. As per USPS, delivery adjustments must be made by the recipient, not by the shipper.

Free Shipping Offer
Any retail order over $50 in the continental U.S. qualifies for free standard shipping via USPS 1st Class or Priority Mail only, depending on package weight. The discount will be taken automatically at checkout once you select the standard shipping option. This offer does not apply for wholesale or international orders, as well as monthly subscription products including IPOT Omakase and Year of Teabags.
All wholesale orders ship via UPS Ground; shipping charges will be calculated at checkout.
For retail orders, USPS shipping charges will be automatically calculated during checkout, prior to the completion of your order. Please see Order Fulfillment above for details on ongoing delays due to the pandemic.
- USPS 1st Class Mail – Our most economical shipping method is available for packages under 1 lb total weight; orders are usually received within one to five business days.
USPS Priority Mail – Domestic shipments are usually received within one to three business days after your order is processed.
USPS Express Mail – Expedited shipping is available via USPS Express Mail; orders are delivered within one to two days.
USPS International – All international shipments are via USPS Priority or Express Mail International; note, these shipments may incur additional charges or delays due to local customs clearance.
We take great care in sourcing our products. If you feel that you have not received what you expected, please note our return policy:
Unused accessories or unopened tea can be returned within 15 days of purchase. You must notify us first if you would like to initiate a return: email@example.com.
Accessories or tea must be unused and in new condition upon receipt. If item is found damaged, used or open, we are not able to issue a refund.
All return shipping charges will be paid by the customer unless items were damaged upon arrival.
Payments made via credit card can be credited back to the original card used, or a store credit can be issued.
For returns on any items from an order that received free shipping, the original shipping savings associated with the returned item(s) will be deducted from the refund amount unless the return was due to our error.
