Current Tasting Offerings
Get to Know Looseleaf Teas
In our introductory Get to Know Looseleaf Teas tasting, we will experience three different examples of world-class tea and attendees will:
learn about traditionally made teas through an expert guided tasting
leave with practical tips and techniques to continue brewing teas with confidence
Each guest receives a tasting kit ahead of the event, which includes three looseleaf tea samples (~10 grams each) and a printed steeping chart. Brewing equipment such as a teapot can be provided to complement your tea experience at an additional cost.
Tea & Cheese Pairing
One of our most popular pairing workshops, now available virtually!
In our Tea & Cheese Pairing, guests will have the opportunity to:
- savor farmstead cheeses from our good friends at Saxelby Cheese alongside single-origin teas through a guided tasting
- pick up techniques for further tea and cheese pairing exploration
- discover a favorite tea and cheese combination
Each attendee is sent a personal tasting kit, including three looseleaf tea samples and printed brewing chart, along with three cheeses (~16 oz total). Brewing equipment, such as a teapot or infuser, can be provided to complement your tea experience at an additional cost.
Tea & Chocolate Pairing
Join us for a hour of gustatory delight: similarly to tea, single-origin chocolate has a wide range of flavor, thanks to terroir. Each traditional production region's soil, climate, and processing techniques result in distinct, unique profiles.
In our Tea & Chocolate Workshop, guests will have the opportunity to:
- experience small-batch chocolates and single-origin teas through a guided tasting
- hear stories behind the tea plant Camellia sinensis and the cocoa tree Theobroma cacao
- learn about the alchemy of flavor, aroma, and texture that a pairing can showcase
Each attendee receives a tasting kit ahead of the event: three full-size chocolate bars from an artisan, bean-to-bar producer, and three looseleaf tea samples along with a printed steeping chart. Brewing equipment such as a teapot can be provided to complement your tea experience at an additional cost.
**Please note, tea and chocolate classes will not be conducted from mid-June through the summer. Sessions will return again in the fall!**
Exploring Cold Brew & Tea Cocktails
Go beyond your grannie's pitcher of sweet tea with a refreshing happy hour of iced tea and tea-cocktail making. We'll explore the best methods for preparing iced tea, and show you how to use your infusions for inventive cocktails with or without alcohol.
In our Cold Brew Cocktail workshop, guests will have the chance to:
- discover their inner bartender with tea syrups, infusions, and bitters
- learn which brewing methods are best suited to different teas
- experience new ways to enjoy a healthful beverage
Want to customize your event? Duration of the tasting, kits, and themes can be tailored for you, and discussed in detail after you've completed our Private Virtual Tea Tasting Inquiry Form. Please note any special requests on the form.
How do our private virtual tea tastings work?
For intimate groups of up to 6, we recommend selecting a date at least two weeks in advance prior the event date.
For larger groups or custom workshops, please submit your virtual tasting inquiry form at least three weeks prior to the event date. This is to ensure the tasting kits arrive in a timely manner for each attendee.

A team member will be in touch to schedule a call about specifics for your tasting: date and time, and attendees' addresses.
Participants will then receive tasting kits in the mail and a suggested setup list. You, as the host, can set up and share a Zoom link ahead of the event.
