When simmered with milk, this house-made blend transports you the lush landscapes of India. Our time-tested recipe uses a base of strong, single-estate Assam tea that balances perfectly with the warming spices of cinnamon and cardamom, and a hint of heat from ginger and cloves. Many like to sweeten it; others enjoy it plain, prepared as a traditional black tea.

Hand-blended in house; also available in teabags. 

Ingredients: black tea, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, ginger, rooibos

Best Chai

— I ever had. I don’t know if any tea can be considered addictive, but In Pursuit of Tea’s Classic Chai comes close. Some frigid Alaskan mornings, when I just feel like huddling under my down blanket all day, the only thing to spur me on and up is the thought of a very large, very hot cup of classic chai. It is so very delicious and comforting!
Also, I think the blend is excellent, a perfect balance of spices and tea.

A rich combination of dark teas and spices. Spicy aroma. Brews promptly to a rich, smooth beverage. Not too sweet, with a refreshing citrus aftertaste. As the name suggests, a classic chai.
