This velvety chai marries black tea with sweet spices—including cardamom, cinnamon and ginger—and roasted cacao bean shells. The rich, creamy note of chocolate blends well with the malty Assam base, whether prepared simply with hot water or more traditionally, simmered with milk and sweetener.

So delicious and aromatic, It is very energizing and ideal for cold days! If you are a big fan of hot chocolate you can definitely use this one to infuse your milk!

A lasting spice to it, this chai blend has a cinnamon aroma that is reminiscent of the winter holiday season. I expected this blend to be a bit on the sweet side, but that predisposition was squelched upon my initial sip. What I got instead was a smooth black tea with hints of cinnamon and a bittersweet cocoa flavor; a welcomed surprise. Not a glimmering prize of a tea, but a faithful blend that I could always rely on for a cathartic evening brew.
