Genmaicha Teabags
Tuck into these teabags of Genmaicha, a comforting blend of sencha green tea and roasted rice crafted in Shizuoka, Japan.
This lot is grown on a small, century-old family farm; after the leaves are harvested, steamed and rolled, the finished sencha tea is hand-mixed with roasted rice. Soothing and mellow, the rice adds a wonderful toasted note to this refreshing green tea.
The material for our teabags is completely plant-derived, and they are electrostatically sealed—without glue or staples—so the pure flavor and aroma of the tea can shine through. Once used, these teabags can be composted at industrial composting facilities. Find a composter near you in this national directory from the U.S. Composting Council.
