The national herbal drink of Greece, colloquially known as Greek mountain tea: peppery and herbaceous, this is an outstanding caffeine-free infusion to taste and behold. Long used in traditional herbal medicine, these are full-flavored flowers that yield multiple golden cups. The plant, Sideritis scardica, is part of the larger mint family and is native to the mountainous region.

Mild and satisfying

I'm new to tea drinking and have been experimenting with the types offered. I ordered this one because the description sounded fun - golden, pepper and sage. For me the pepper and sage are there but in the background. Yes on golden as much as color can describe a taste. It's very soothing. No bitter taste. It's one of my go-to-treats at the end of a long day. Relaxing.

Love!

An unexpected new favorite. It tastes light and comforting, and the scent reminds me of sage. I love the floral earthiness, and I now drink it daily. A nice, less assertive alternative to mint.

A must for any herbal tea lover

This was the tea that introduced me to, In Pursuit of Tea. I was given a cup of Mt. Olympus at the end of an extraordinary meal at Atelier Crenn in 2011. Herbal yet rich (not heavy) and sophisticated while still being distinctive and no cloying aftertaste. A true find! The restaurant was gracious enough to share the source, which I am still thankful for. This is a must have for the collection of any herbal tea lover.

The tea is perfect - calming and aromatic! I bought some Masala Chai as well which I drink with relish every morning. Thank you so much for continuing to ship during these strange times. I am grateful! I also sent a friend a gift of your teas and she was very thankful, too.

All my best,
Jordan Salcito
