Nantou Four Seasons
This oolong is made from a cultivar that can be harvested year-round—si ji chun, which means four seasons like spring. It’s grown in mountainous Nantou County, Taiwan, which is in the central part of the island. The hand-picked leaves are oxidized about 15% and rolled into ball shapes; a final light baking yields to a powerful fragrance, nectar-sweet and floral. As the leaves unfurl through multiple infusions, creamy flavors of pine and a fresh green note linger.
A well-balanced, popular tea, it's a wonderful introduction to the oolong category.

I have been on a green oolong kick, trying teas from Taiwan. I enjoy the floral notes from the high mountain teas but really love this one best for its sweetness and fullness. It still has a florality to it, too. The price is really quite nice for the exceptional taste. It's not a heavy or darker roast like other oolongs so if you are looking for that nutty taste this might not be the tea you want. But worth a try as it is very, very tasty and enjoyable. Makes my morning!
This oolong is my favorite go to tea when I want to sit quietly to inhale and taste the fragrance of this delicious tea.. I have gifted this to my discerning daughter.
Love it! I drink it to keep awake during my professor’s full lectures.
