Tsunami Zaoxiang Bingcha

This green (sheng) pu-erh is crafted of leaves blended from five famous mountains in the Xishuangbanna region of Yunnan. Pressed into a bingcha in 2008 and wrapped in a traditional wood block print of waves, it has the balanced taste you’d expect from a mature cake, and it will continue to mellow and age well. 

Each sip is like a step through summer orchards and meadows, with a rich, velvety texture. Clear notes of stewed stone fruit, red dates and orchid are crowned with a slightly minty, cooling effect—a balanced, easy drinking tea that can be savored all day.
