This shu or black pu-erh tea is made from early-picked leaves that undergo a fermentation and aging process unique to the category. Produced in Yunnan Province in 2016, the flavor is rich, strong and earthy, with a complex, intense aroma; it’s often well-liked by coffee drinkers.

Very nice

I have really gotten into pu-erh teas the last few years and this one was very good. The first brewing was very rich and the malty sweetness was pleasant. I held up well to several brewings.

So smooth and wonderful

This is my first time trying pu-erh tea leaves. The flavor is so smooth and peasant! I can have a couple cups in a sitting and not feel bloated. These leaves are also nice for resteeping a couple times.
